The Gauthier Companies was established in 1979 to serve the Acadiana area's mobile home market by the Gauthier brothers: Jim, Robert and John. A natural outgrowth of the business was the addition of Recreational Vehicles in 1989.  Robert, along with sons, Bobby and Garett expanded into Gauthiers Onsite Rentals, while Jim and John relocated to their new location in 2003 on I-10 in Louisiana. Gauthier's has established itself as the premier RV dealer in all of Acadiana by offering sales for top quality fifth wheels and travel trailers at our dealership just outside of Lafayette, Louisiana. This prestigious product line includes model by DRV - formally Doubletree RV (Elite Suites, Mobile Suites, Select Suites), Sunnybrook (Sunset Creek, Edgewater, Brookside, Bristol Bay and Mobile Scout Titan XL), K-Z Manufacturing (Durango, Spree, Coyote, Inferno, Sportsmen) and Forest River (Wildcat and Cedar Creek). In 2009 we added Cruiser RV (Viewfinder, Fun Finder and Shadow Cruiser) and Evergreen RV (Ever-lite) as well as Hoosier Horse Trailers.  An emphasis on customer service and satisfaction backs these lines in both the award winning service department and the extensive parts store on site.   In June 2007, John's son Nick came on board to learn the business and has since taken over the service department and getting rave reviews from our customers. Nick is a graduate of UL Lafayette in Mechanical Engineering which is a great attribute to have in the ever changing RV industry.
